About Us
Covering Florida Program Navigators at SRAHEC offer free help to anyone in North Central Florida who needs to sign up for health insurance through the marketplace. We can help over the phone, online, or in person. We also give free information and education in different locations in our 15-county service area. Our services are available in English, Spanish and Creole!
Our Navigators are trained to help individuals, small businesses, and their employees with:
Finding and comparing health plans
Completing eligibility forms
Enrolling in a plan
The Tobacco Free Florida AHEC Program offers FREE groups in the community to help people quit tobacco for good. Each group is led by a trained specialist who guides participants through the quitting process. They help identify triggers and withdrawal symptoms and brainstorm ways to cope with them. Groups are hosted at locations such as local public community centers, libraries, and hospitals. Groups are also available virtually. Join via Zoom on a phone, tablet, or computer or call in by phone. SRAHEC also offers private groups for locations such as worksites. We provide FREE nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to participants (While supplies less, or when medically necessary).
