About Us

Putnam County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency serving Putnam County, Fla. The sheriff's office administers directed patrol and investigative responsibilities in a primary service area that includes the unincorporated regions of the county as well as Pomona Park. The sheriff's office also provides assistance to the municipalities with police departments. Additionally, the sheriff's office administers dispatching services for law enforcement, fire departments and emergency services.

The Sheriff is delegated the responsibility, by the Board of County Commissioners, of administration and daily operation of the Putnam County Jail. The sheriff additionally maintains courthouse and courtroom security for all sessions of county and circuit courts within Putnam County.
