The story of the Russian Revolution comes alive on stage as the Palatka Junior-Senior High School Musical Theatre Department presents the breathtaking Broadway musical Anastasia. Opening Friday night at the Jim Pignato Theater, this production is a rare opportunity for our community to witness an epic tale of history, mystery, and heart right here at home.

Set in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution, Anastasia follows the legend of the missing Romanov princess. When the royal family is overthrown by the Bolsheviks, a rumor spreads that the youngest daughter, Anastasia, may have survived. Two con men set out to train a young woman to impersonate the lost princess and claim a reward from the Dowager Empress. But as the plan unfolds, they begin to wonder—could this girl actually be the real Anastasia?
