Description
On August 19th, 2004 the Putnam County Historical Society in cooperation with the City of Palatka and the Palatka Fire Department sponsored an oral history event with a panel of former Palatka firefighters consisting of Bobby Rivers, Beryl Peterson, Bill Buck, Owen Preston, and Rudy Howard. These firefighters shared memories of their time on the fire department with both serious and humorous events. The panel discussion was moderated by Larry Beaton and was recorded by Sonny Harrell with WJGV Gospel Vision. The video of the original program will be shown (slightly edited for time constraints).
