SUMMARY:Putnam County Relay for Life
DESCRIPTION:Relay is a team fundraising event for the American Cancer Society where team members take turns walking around a track or designated path. This event is 12 hours and each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. Cancer patients don't stop because they're tired\, and for one night\, neither do we.\n\nEach team sets up a themed campsite at the event and continues their fundraising efforts by collecting donations for food\, goods\, games\, and activities. This money will count towards their overall team fundraising goal.\n\n\n\nIt is free and open to the public! We also encourage any cancer survivors and caregivers to come out. We have a special ceremony for the cancer survivors that includes a meal\, a t-shirt\, a medal and their very own lap.
