Gage is currently Artist in Residence at Heidi's Jazz Club in Cocoa Beach on Thursday nights, and is a regular performer at the New Smyrna Beach Jazz Festival. Sybil's musical presentation includes traditional jazz from the 1920's and 30's, ragtime, blues, and many original tunes that fit seamlessly in her repertoire. Sybil performs up and down the east coast including the Triad Theater in New York City and the Old US Mint Theater in New Orleans. She is the recipient of several awards for songwriting. Her second CD "NOLA Calling" was nominated for "Best Self-Produced CD" by "The Blues Foundation", as part of the International Blues Challenge. Sybil Gage is backed by her Merry Band of Royal Catahoula’s. “After attending many of Sybil's shows at Heidi's Jazz Club, I have concluded that Sybil Gage and her group demonstrate the true spirit of American Jazz."
